Now that we have seen two pictures of the bachelor's-degree participants at ODU's recent graduation, how about pictures of Samantha Salvia, Rhodes-scholar winner and the Rev. Samuel Proctor, distinguished native son of Norfolk. I am sure your photographer couldn't possibly have missed the opportunity to take pictures of them.
Your reporter did an excellent job of reporting excerpts from the Rev. Mr. Proctor's address. His entire speech, which has such relevance in terms of life's expectations, along with his picture, might help to mend some of our wounded spirits.
