Russell Glen Linn, 86, died May 17, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Linn, a native of Grafton, W.Va., retired from Traylor Optical Company as an optician. He was a member of Lafayette Presbyterian Church, Ruth Masonic Lodge, Royal Arch Chapter, Grice Commandery, and Khedive Temple.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor B. Linn; brother-like nephew, Gary L. Hoffman of Wheeling, W.Va.; brother-in-law, Richard Bowman and his wife, Betty, of Naples, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday by Chaplain Kenneth Askew in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, today from 4 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital, 645 Woodlake Drive, Chesapeake, Va. 23320.
