What began as a check on a report of a missing person turned into a homicide investigation Saturday after detectives discovered a woman's body in a Colonial Place home.
Two detectives found the woman, whose identity has not been confirmed, in a house in the 700 block of Delaware Avenue, on the corner of Mayflower.
Police spokesman Larry Hill said the woman appeared to have been dead for several days. Her body was sent to the State Medical Examiner's office.
Police were questioning neighbors and a man who lived at the home, but no charges had been filed as of Saturday night. by CNB
