A Dallas-based communications provider has opened a customer center in Virginia Beach.
PageMart Inc., one of the nation's largest providers of modern digital pagers, has opened a 1,100-square-foot customer center at 309 Aragona Blvd.
The centers are part of the communications provider's new customer care program, which is designed to make the company's products, services and customer service representatives easier to access. Stephen Mishoe is the store's sales manager.
Gregory Robert Wright and Ellen C. Carlson have formed the law firm of Wright & Carlson in Virginia Beach. Wright opened a solo practice in 1989 and has served as an assistant public defender for the City of Virginia Beach. Before Carlson opened her own solo practice earlier this year, she was an associate with Kaufman & Canoles. The law firm is located at 760 Lynnhaven Parkway.
The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles will open the doors to its newest office today. The Virginia Beach/Hilltop Customer Service Center, located at 1712 Donna Blvd., will replace the DMV office located at 229 Mustang Trail. The new office is almost twice as large as the Mustang Trail office. It will also feature 16 teller windows, a driver photo station and a drive-through window for vehicle registration decal renewals.
LAN Co. has expanded its Virginia Beach office at 4520 Holland Office Park. The office has tripled in size since May 1995.
The company is one of the largest Microsoft Solution providers and Novell Platinum dealers in the Eastern United States.
