Margaret M. Bowers, 54, died May 18, 1996.
She was a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., and resided in Chesapeake for the past 13 years. She was employed as a physical therapist and was a member of the National and State American Physical Therapy Associations. She was active with the Girl Scout Council and Girls Recreational Basketball League.
Survivors include her husband, Stan Bowers; three daughters, Lori Manik of Governors Island, N.Y., Danine Falcon of Annapolis, Md. and Adrienne Klein of Bowie, Md.; her mother, Marie Doran of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Jane Westerbeck of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Marie Fallon of North Palm Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Robert Doran of Pittsburgh and Joseph Doran of West Palm Beach; and four granddaughters, Sarah, Katie and Caroline Manik of Governors Island and Mariel Falcon of Annapolis.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel. Friends may join the family after the service at the residence.
