Tacie Burnham Fulford, 89, a long time resident of Chesapeake, died Sunday, May 19, 1996, in a Chesapeake hospital.
Mrs. Fulford was born in South Mills, N.C., and was the widow of Raymond L. Fulford. She was a retired school bus driver and a homemaker. Her memberships include Woodland Heights Baptist Church in Chesapeake and the Indian River Senior Citizens.
Survivors include her two sons and daughter-in-law, Ernest L. Fulford and wife Shirley G. Fulford and Edward S. Fulford, all of Chesapeake; her granddaughter, Lynda Paige Fulford of Ventura, Calif.; and her foster daughter, Rose Buck Steed of Atlanta.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, by the Rev. Paul D. Moore. Burial will be private in Rosewood Memorial Gardens, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the building fund of Woodland Heights Baptist Church, 529 Providence Road, Chesapeake, Va. 23325.
