Ivan George Fisk, 74, of Westmoreland Avenue, went to be with God on Sunday, May 19, 1996.
A native of Milwaukee, Wis., he was a member of Cottage Place United Methodist Church. He was retired as an aviation quality control specialist from the Norfolk Naval Air Station and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a life member of DAV Chapter 41 and a member of Beazley Senior Citizens.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Murphy Fisk; a daughter, Carolyn E. Motley and husband F. Hunter of Chesapeake; a son, Ronald Charles Fisk of Portsmouth; two grandchildren, Cristin M. French and Patricia M. Raiford; and three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Brandon and Evan.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Malcolm L. Yaple. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Contributions may be made to Cottage Place United Methodist Church.
