Florence Sarah Pipkin, 74, formerly of Norfolk, died Sunday, May 19, 1996, in a Glastonbury, Conn., health care center.
She was born in Norfolk and was the widow of the late James R. Pipkin Jr. She was a member of Ghent United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Teresa P. Falhauber of Glastonbury, Conn., and Judith P. Delafuente; a son, Chaplain James R. Pipkin III of the U.S. Navy of Cape Cod, Mass.; a brother, John M. Hall of Norfolk; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Cox Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Falhauber. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Cox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
