RAYMOND RHONE SR.

Raymond Rhone Sr., 82, of the 700 block of Malbon Drive, died May 18, 1996.

Mr. Rhone, a native of Liberty, S.C., retired from the Civil Service/ILA after 45 years of service. He was a member of St. Mark R.Z.U.A., Norfolk, and trustee and member of the usher board.

Survivors include his wife, Ada C. Rhone; a daughter, Vivian Rhone Bailey of Chesapeake; three sons, Bruce Rhone Jr. of Virginia Beach, Jimmy O. Rhone of Dover, Del., and Morris Rhone of Oakland, Calif.; two sisters, Dazy Earls and Mary B. Davis of Oakland; 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday at St. Mark R.Z.U.A. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Pretlow and Sons' Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is in charge.
