Ruby Pritchard Eason, 90, of the 200 block of Katherine St., died May 20, 1996, at Hillhaven Nursing Center.
Mrs. Eason, the widow of Raymond Farley Eason, was the daughter of the late Leslie L. and Daisy Holland Pritchard. She was a native of Elizabeth City, N.C., and a member of First Baptist Church, where she was a nursery worker.
Survivors include a daughter, Frances J. Eason of Suffolk; a son, Bill F. Eason Sr. of Suffolk; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Charles W. Thompson at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in Hill Funeral Home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and other times in the home of Bill Eason, 629 Dogwood Lane, Suffolk. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Family Life Center, 237 N. Main St., Suffolk, Va. 23434.
