QUEEN E. SCARBROUGH

Queen E. Scarbrough, of the 200 block of N. Palmyra Drive, and formerly of Oakleaf Park, Norfolk, departed this life May 17, 1996, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Scarbrough was a native of Green County, N.C., and was retired from the Norfolk Naval Base as a dietitian.

She is survived by her children, Betty M. Jackson, Denese A. Cox-Peterson, Frederick B. Cox, Russell R. Cox, and Anthony L. Scarbrough, all of Norfolk; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

There will be a wake service at Graves Funeral Home today from 7 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
