Ricky Lynn McDonald, 31, of the 4600 block of Logal St., died May 18, 1996, in San Diego, Calif.
He was a retired warehouseman for White Cap Construction Company, San Diego, Calif., and a native of Norfolk.
He is survived by two stepsons, Johnathan Jones and Justin Jones, both of San Diego; mother, Evelyn W. Woodard of Norfolk; stepfather, Bennie Woodard of Norfolk; two sisters, Shearon Anderson of Chesapeake and Lucille White of Petersburg; brother, Sherman McDonald Jr. of Norfolk; paternal grandmother, Lucille Newby of Norfolk; his fiancee, Gennifer Jones of San Diego; and many other surviving relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by the Rev. William Dyson in Saint James A.M.E. Church, Berkley, Norfolk. Burial is in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will be at 409 W. 27th St., Norfolk. Fitchett Funeral Home in charge.
