Sam Chieco, 77, of the 7500 block of Merritt St., died May 19, 1996, at his residence.
He was born in New York, N.Y., and was retired. He served honorably in the U.S. Army Air Choir during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Margaret Chieco.
He is survived by a son, James V. Chieco of Norfolk; a sister, Anna Martorina of New Jersey; and two brothers, Rocco Chieco of Marietta, Ga., and Vinvent Chieco of Chesapeake.
Services will be held graveside at Hampton National Cemetery Tuesday, May 28, 1996, at 3 p.m. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
