Helen Marie Campbell, 62, of the 3500 block of Victoria Drive, died Tuesday, May 21, 1996, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital.
She was a native of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and a homemaker. Mrs. Campbell was a caring foster mother, a community volunteer, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard Malcolm Campbell Sr.; a daughter, Alma Jean Doyle of Virginia Beach; two sons, Leonard M. Campbell Jr. and Jack G. Campbell of Virginia Beach; a sister, Gladys Burton of Holt, Fla.; a brother, David Lee ``Butch'' Crawford of Louisa County, Va.; and two grandchildren, Leonard E. and Melanie M. Campbell.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Kellam Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation at the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m.
