Edward Grady Wells, 58, of the 6100 block of Lyndhurst Ave., died May 22, 1996, at his residence.
Mr. Wells, a native of Mooresville, N.C., worked for J.D. Wells, Inc. He was also a professional photographer. He was a member of Princess Anne Baptist Church and a longtime member of the Messengers Gospel Quartet.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Wells; four daughters, Carol Varela, Cheryle Deguzman and Patricia Villinger, all of Virginia Beach, Kathy Montgomery of Chesapeake; three sisters, Jacqueline ``Jack'' Stover of Norfolk, Carol Carter and Alice Geoghegan, both of Virginia Beach; a brother, James Wells of Virginia Beach; and nine grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Ronald W. Lee at Princess Anne Plaza Baptist Church. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
