STEVE FOREMAN JR.

Bishop Steve Foreman Jr., 76, of the 6400 block of Devonshire Road, died May 21, 1996.

Mr. Foreman, a native of Princess Anne County, Va., retired as a custodian from 7-Eleven after 10 years of service. He had been retired for 14 years. He was a member, organist, deacon, and Sunday school teacher of Victoria Church of Christ, Norfolk. He was an assistant pastor of St. Mary Church of Deliverance.

Survivors include his wife, Alene Foreman; two sons, Joseph Edward Wilson Jr. of Norfolk, Leon Foreman of Portsmouth; a sister, Virginia Parks (Evangelist) of Norfolk; two brothers, Rev. Neil Foreman of Norfolk, Jasper Foreman of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Joseph Edward Wilson, Sonja C. Wilson, both of Norfolk, Kim W. Cook of Virginia Beach; four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Maude Johnson and Steven Foreman.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday by Bishop James Brinkley at Holy Temple, 4201 Reid St., Chesapeake. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family is receiving friends at the residence. The funeral procession will leave the residence at 11:15 a.m. for the church. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
