Pauline V. McNiff, 74, died May 23, 1996, in her home.
A native of Holbrook, Mass., she was the widow of Eugene E. McNiff. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Virginia L. James and Karen K. Schachtner, both of Virginia Beach; two sons, Eugene F. McNiff of Virginia Beach, Kevin P. McNiff of Franklin; three sisters, Jane Bowker of Inverness, Fla., Joann Atkinson of Johnston, R.I., Pat Davis of Hanford, Calif.; a brother, Alfred Coe of Maiden, N.C.; and eight grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 1996, at St. Pius X Catholic Church by the Rev. William Dale. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel is in charge. The family will receive friends in the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made to the Diabetes Association, Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, or St. Pius X Catholic Church School.
