Bella P. Raiford, 78, a resident of Waverly and longtime resident of Mount Dora, Fla., died on Thursday, May 23, 1996, at Waverly Health Care Center.
Mrs. Raiford was the widow of Lt. Col. David Cecil Raiford.
She is survived by two sisters, Dora LaBell and Jeanne D'Arc Tremblay, both of Canada; a brother-in-law, James Raiford of Ivor; several nieces and nephews, including Linda LaBell of Canada, Judy Carr of Ivor, James Raiford Jr. of Ivor, Margaret Smith of Ivor; and close friend, R.J. Ritter of Suffolk.
Memorial service plans are pending. Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, is in charge of the arrangements.
