Marianna Rehling Goodman died at her home on May 20, 1996.
Mrs. Goodman had been a resident of Abbey Delray South since 1991. Born in 1918 in Dayton, Ohio, she graduated from Oakwood High School there in 1936 and from Wheaton College, Mass., in 1940. From 1940 to 1943, she worked as a reporter and columnist for the Dayton Daily News. In her lifetime, Mrs. Goodman resided in Virginia Beach, Va., St. Clair, Mich., and was a long-time resident of New York City.
She is survived by three children, Mary Downs of Denver, Colo., John Goodman of San Diego, Calif., and Richard Goodman Jr. of New York City. She also has a sister, Dorothy R. Jordon of St. Clair, and five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be sent to St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 188 South Swinton Ave., Delray Beach, Fla. 33444.
