Leroy ``Pete'' Jeffery, of the 400 block of Chapel St., died May 20, 1996, at his residence.
Mr. Jeffery was a native of Princess Anne County. He was the son of Mrs. Corrine Jeffery and the late James Thomas Jeffery.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Velma Taylor of Chesapeake, Mrs. Odell Borders of Norfolk, and Mrs. Lucille Sue of Virginia Beach; five brothers, Roosevelt and Roscoe Jeffery of Seattle, Wash., Melvin Jeffery of Norfolk, William Jeffery of Providence, R.I., and Frank Jeffery of Chesapeake; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hale Funeral Home Chapel. Friends and family will be received at 446 Chapel St., Norfolk, and will gather there at noon Saturday for the procession to the funeral. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
