A teenager suspected of killing her 4-week-old baby was arrested Thursday - her 16th birthday - on a first-degree murder charge.

The baby, who had skull fractures, a broken femur and bruises, died at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters May 17. Police believe the child was injured between May 15 and May 17.

Charges against the girl, whose identity was not released by police because she is a juvenile, were filed Wednesday.
