Daisy M. Taylor, 59, of the 6400 block of Palem Road, died May 21, 1996.
She was a native of Halifax County, N.C. and the widow of Clarence Taylor Jr. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Glorious Church of Jesus (NU)2, Enfield, N.C. She was a missionary.
She is survived by five daughters, Laura Nevilles of Norfolk, Diane Taylor Wilson of Virginia Beach, Jean Taylor, Carolyn Taylor, both of Norfolk, Ruby Taylor of Northern Virginia; two sons, Arthur R. Taylor and Clarence Taylor III, both of Norfolk; her parents, Ruby Lynch and Lee Richardson, both of Enfield; seven sisters, Margaret Nicholson, Gladys Harvey, Eula Nevilles, Alice Mae Williams, Betty Nicholson, Ernestine Ricks, Tempsie Alston, all of Enfield; five brothers, Forest Richardson, Thalber Richardson, Vance Richardson, Claude Richardson, all of Norfolk, Sammie Mack Richardson of Enfield; 10 grandchildren, Arthur R. Taylor of Virginia Beach, Calvin Nevilles, Cameron Nevilles, Alexander Nevilles, Dominick Taylor, Tiffany Taylor, all of Norfolk; LaTosha Taylor of Virginia Beach, Ronnie Wilson of Virginia Beach, Rickie Winningham of Virginia Beach, and Marcus Taylor of Norfolk; 17 nieces; 18 nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday by Pastor Henry Alston in Eastman Middle School, Enfield. Burial is in Glorious Church of Jesus (NU)2, Enfield. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Norfolk, is in charge of the arrangements. Family and friends will assemble at 6416 Palem Road, Norfolk, Sunday at 11 a.m. for the procession to school.
