Eleanor Joyner Shea, 72, of the 100 block of Yorkshire Road, died May 24, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
She worked as an assistant manager for the Navy Exchange and was a native of Zuni, Va.
She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Shea; a daughter, Margaret A. Woods and her husband, Gerald J. Woods of Portsmouth; three sisters, Minnie L. Billups and Margaret Gordon, both of Zuni, Mildred Wilcox of Rockledge, Fla.; brother, John T. Joyner of Windsor, Va.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Daniel G. Spaugh in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, is in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
