Gardner Realty Inc. and broker-in-charge Marguerite M. Gardner of Nags Head have had their licenses revoked by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.
In a notice issued May 17, the commission said Gardner used interest-bearing escrow accounts without written authority and failed for more than two years to institute a trust account record-keeping system. Gardner's broker license was revoked April 1.
Gardner Realty was disciplined at the same time for the same reason.
In other commission action, real estate salesman Michael W. McCool of Kitty Hawk was reprimanded for failing to disclose homeowner association liens on corporate-owned property on five corporate contractor license renewal forms he signed.
McCool's salesman's license was suspended for one year effective March 21. The revocation was stayed, and McCool was put on probation until March 27, 1997. by CNB
