The American press (or somebody) is trying to tear what is left of America apart.
How else to explain worrying a respected and admired leader like Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jeremy ``Mike'' Boorda about a technicality regarding his long and distinguished service career?
How else to explain the fact that in recent years not just one but two high-ranking officials have taken their own lives, and the president and first lady are the objects of public abuse?
As others have said before me, the feeling against the first lady is not based in reason but in some kind of pathological ill will.
And now to learn that the sensitive, well-loved naval leader has responded to the treasonous assaults with suicide is more than a tragedy and more than a ``great loss''; it is an evil omen.
Somebody in America is using, once again, very villainous and evil means to get what it wants, not caring who is hurt in the process, and I'd be willing to bet that it all has something to do with the election year - with breaking the nerve and heart of the first couple.
