Irene Hepler Tucker Price, 77, died Friday May 24, 1996, after several years of failing health.
A native of Randolph County and a Baptist, Mrs. Price was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by many.
She was retired from Eckard Drug. Mrs. Price was born April 9, 1919, and was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ada Hepler, and her husband of 44 years, Willard Tucker, and her husband of 12 years, Joe Price; brothers, Virgil Hepler of Providence, R.I., Robert Hepler of Greensboro; granddaughter, Lisa Tucker Andrews of Greensboro.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-laws, Donald and Ann Tucker, Jerry and Patsy Tucker, both of Greensboro; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Johnny Farrington of High Point; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Burnettes Chapel United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Greensboro, 2500 Summitt Ave., Greensboro, N.C. 27405. Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel is in charge.
