BRODNAX - Rev. Archie G. Barrett, 52, of Brodnax and formerly of Norfolk, departed this life, May 23, 1996 in Brunswick County.
He is survived by his wife, Joreatha Barrett; three sons; one daughter; mother, Elizabeth Sweeney; and a host of other relatives.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Roanoke Zion RZUA Church, Bracey, Va. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 11 a.m. until the hour of the funeral. Feggins Funeral Home, South Hill, is in charge of arrangements.
