John Joseph Caddle
CHESAPEAKE - John Joseph Caddle, 76, died May 23, 1996.
He retired as a master gunner sergeant after serving 31 years with the Marine Corps and 10 years in the Chesapeake Sheriff's Department.
Mr. Caddle is survived by his wife of 52 1/2 years, Betty J. Caddle; by sons John Caddle of New Bern, N.C., and Richard and Kerry of Norfolk; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Great Bridge Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Ralph Herbert will officiate. Upon his request his body was donated to EVMS. In lieu of flowers, send donations to the Cancer Center of Chesapeake General or the American Heart Association.
