Lena Hall Jones, 81, of the 600 block of Cornet St., died May 27, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Jones, the widow of James V. Jones, was a native of Taylorsville, N.C. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy D. Miltier and her husband, John K. Miltier, of Chesapeake; three sisters, Myrtle McAbee of Richmond, Shirley Emigh of St. Paul, Minn., Margaret Mowell of San Antonio, Texas; and two grandchildren, Teresa Miltier and Michael Miltier.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. G.W. Harley at Central Baptist Church. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
