Arne K. Frode-Hansen Sr., 69, of the 4000 block of Thomas Jefferson Drive, died May 24, 1996, at a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Frode-Hansen, the widower of Betty M. Frode-Hansen, retired from Anders Williams Co. as a ships counselor. He was a native of Norway and a member of Norwegian Consulate Sons of Norway Chapter (NU)522; and Aragona Moose Lodge.
Survivors include three sons, Arne Frode-Hansen Jr. of Virginia Beach, Frederick Frode-Hansen of Norfolk, Harold Frode-Hansen of Japan; a sister, Bjorg Andersen; six grandchildren, Chris, Shannon, Frederick, Heaven, Corey, and Brandi.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m. Moose Lodge services will be held today at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Arne Frode-Hansen Memorial Fund, in care of his son, Arne Jr.
