Mrs. Barbara Ann Blei, 65, died Monday, May 27, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Blei was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Blei.
Survivors include two sons, Michael D. Blei of Chesapeake and his wife, Sue, and Thomas A. Blei of Virginia Beach and his wife, Doreene; four daughters, Katherine J. Ballance of Virginia Beach and her husband, Jimmy, Susan A. Blei of Atlanta, Ga., Stephanie A. McCulley of Virginia Beach and her husband, Richard, and Jacqueline M. Blei of Richmond, Va.; two brothers, Richard Anderson of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Robert Anderson of Syracuse, N.Y.; and a sister, Norma Stevens of Syracuse. She is also survived by six beloved grandchildren, JoAnn E. Ballance, Joseph C. Blei, Ryan M. Ballance, Shelby A. Blei, Chelsea E. Blei, and Conner B. McCulley.
The family will receive friends in Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall Chapel, Virginia Beach, today from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Christian wake service at 7 p.m. today. The service will be held at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Thursday at 10 a.m. conducted by Father John Peck. The burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park, North Witchduck Road.
