Lawrence Andrew ``Skinny'' Elliott, 40, died May 27, 1996.
He was a native of Portsmouth and a member of Mount Calvary Church of God, Pottstown.
Survivors include a daughter, Shanna Sykes of Portsmouth; six sons, Rico Nixon, Santonio Nixon, Antonio Phillips, Toriano Nixon, Demario Phillips, all of Portsmouth, Miles Elliott of Pottstown; his parents, Constance Elliott and Linwood Elliott Sr., both of Portsmouth; six sisters, Linda Elliott, Viola Murphy, Deborah Elliott, Cynthia Elliott, all of Portsmouth, Brenda Elliott of Chesapeake, Cathy Blount of Pottstown; three brothers, Linwood Elliott Jr. and Robert Elliott, both of Chesapeake, Thomas Elliott of Portsmouth; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday by the Rev. Vernon Lee at New Mount Vernon, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Family and friends will assemble at 219 Cavalier Blvd. for the procession to the church. Serenity Funeral Home is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
