Elizabeth C. Coley, 67, of the 6500 block of Adair Ave., died on May 28, 1996, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Coley, born in North Carolina, was the widow of Charlie S. Coley, Sr. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Ann and Gary Gagnon of Parksley, Va.; five sons and their wives, Charlie and Becky Coley, Jr. of Sterling, Va.; James L. and Mary Coley of Chesapeake, Billy D. and Kathy Coley of Virginia Beach; Gary S. and Lynn Coley of Chesapeake and Bobby M. and Jennifer Coley of Norfolk; two sisters, Gladys Baker of Chesapeake and Margie Coker of Sumter, S.C.; a brother, Billy Lassiter of Portsmouth; and 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday at Tabernacle Baptist Church by Dr. Rodney Bell and Pastor Harry T. Ferguson. Burial will be in Greenlawm Memorial Gardens. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is in charge. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church building fund.
