Terence Green will succeed Dave Willett as athletic director at Wilson High School, effective June 14.
Green will continue as boys varsity basketball coach.
Green, a 1989 graduate of Hampton University, previously coached at Manor and Cradock.
At Wilson, he has been a soccer coach and an assistant football coach. He also coached junior varsity basketball before taking over the varsity.
Green was named to the Sheridan Black College All-America football team as a wide receiver while at Hampton. He was a four-year letterman in football.
He played high school football and basketball at John Yeates in Suffolk.
Green and his wife, Yvette, are the parents of two daughters.
``We will greatly miss the services of Mr. Willett,'' said Wilson principal Lindell Wallace. ``We would like to commend him for a job well done during his four years as our athletic director.
``Now we are looking forward to a long association between Terence Green and Woodrow Wilson High School.'' by CNB
