FRANCES V. SILER

Frances V. Siler, of the 2400 block of Acorn St., died May 28, 1996.

Mrs. Siler was a member of First Baptist Church, South Portmouth, as a pastor's aid and member of the gospel and senior choir.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Siler Jr.; two stepdaughters, Vanessa Alford and Otellor McEachen; a son, Wilbert Haywood; a sister, Mable Anderson; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Marie Duke, Frances Harding and Levertha Siler; a brother-in-law, Raumond Siler; and a daughter-in-law, Ursula Haywood.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Warren E. Amlet at First Baptist Church, South Portsmouth. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
