Sherman Clementi Sykes, 39, of the 2000 block of Pond Lane, died May 26, 1996.
His survivors include his wife, Shirley Sykes; mother, Doris Sykes of Chesapeake; also five sisters, seven brothers and a host of other relatives.
Graves Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements in Norfolk. The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday by the Rev. Horace Cross in Lee's Chapel A.M.E. Church, 1097 Bells Mill Road, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
