Richard David Amme Jr., 47, of the 6400 block of Duquense Place, died May 25, 1996, in his residence.
Mr. Amme was born in Charleston, S.C., and was an accounting technician for Fleet Industrial Supply Center at NOB.
Survivors include his parents, Capt. and Mrs. Richard D. Amme Sr., U.S. Navy (Ret.) of St. Simons Island, Ga.; two sisters, Diane Amme Hartman of Virginia Beach and Debra Amme of Norfolk; two nieces, Brooke and Kristen Hall, both of Virginia Beach; a brother-in-law, Charles Hartman of Virginia Beach; and friend, Ann DeMichael.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Peter Magill in St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 1445 Norview Ave., Norfolk. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Stephens Episcopal Church Memorial Fund.
