Arthur M. Sherman Jr., 58, of the 9500 block of Alpine St., died May 29, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
He was retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service and was a native of Framingham, Mass.
He is survived by his wife, Toshie K. Sherman; two sons, Steve Sherman and his wife, Lisa of Onancock, Va., and James J. Sherman of Norfolk; parents, Edna M. Tebeau and Arthur M. Sherman Sr.; two sisters; three brothers; a grandson, Joshua R. Sherman and a granddaughter, Rebecca A. Sherman, both of Onancock.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial is in Arlington National Cemetery, June 5, 1996, at 3 p.m.
