CORRECTION
A caption May 24 under a picture of the new bike bath in Duck did
not make it clear how it was financed. The mile-long path already
built cost $73,975, and another five miles are planned at a cost of
about $575,000.
The financing was authorized in a November 1994 referendum in
which voters approved an assessment for two years of 5 cents on $100
of property value (about $50 a year on a $100,000 house) and a
one-cent continuing assessment for maintenance. by CNB
