Frances Reese Smith, 90, of 3100 block of Shore Drive, died May 31, 1996.
Born in Atlanta, she was the widow of George Bernard Smith. She was a member of Eastern Shore Chapel Episcopal Church and the Witchduck Circle of the Kings Daughters.
Mrs. Smith was the mother of four children, Mrs. Philip W. Richardson and Mr. I. Reese Smith, both of Virginia Beach, Mrs. Robert G. Bretscher of Athens, Ga. and the late George B. Smith Jr. of Crozier, Va. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
On Sunday, June 2 at 1 p.m., a memorial service will be held at Westminster Canterbury, preceded by a private burial service. H.D.Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eastern Shore Chapel Church or Westminster Canterbury Fellowship Fund.
