Charlotte J. Reese, 70, died May 31, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
She was retired after 25 years from the Norfolk School Board. She was a native of Staunton, Va.
She is survived by her husband, Rufus B. Reese; two daughters and their husbands, Christy R. Miller-Davis and Gerald Davis of Norfolk and Candy R. Redfield and Herb Redfield Jr. of Norfolk; son, Gary F. Reese and daughter-in-law, Virginia Arata, both of Richmond; seven grandchildren, Ali Arata, Dustin Reese, Bradley Reese, all of Richmond, Andy Reese Miller, Allison Reese Miller, Shauna Redfield, ``HC'' Redfield, all of Norfolk; and a great-grandchild, Caleb Skye Beard of Virginia Beach.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday by the Rev. J. Allen Johnson in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be private at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 2 to 3 p.m.
