Marie Sciortion Slevin, died May 24, 1996.
Mrs. Slevin was the daughter of Salvatone and Mary Sciortino. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Slevin.
Survivors include a daughter, Jaime S. Mitchell, of Virginia Beach; three sons, Terence Slevin, Stephen Slevin, and John Slevin, all of Jacksonville; a sister, Anne Marie S. Chrusciel of Virginia Beach; three brothers, Joseph Sciortino, Paul Sciortino, and James Sciortino, all of Virginia Beach; a daughter-in-law, Pat Slevin of Jacksonville; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass was conducted on May 26, 1996 at the Christ the King Catholic Church in Jacksonville. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, provided information.
