Thousands of classic rock fans descended on the Virginia Beach Amphitheater Saturday night for a concert by co-headliners Chicago and Crosby, Stills and Nash.
Noted for their three-part vocal harmonies, Crosby, Stills and Nash, who performed first, garnered ovations with favorites such as ``Love the One You're With'' and ``Woodstock.''
The group was joined for its single encore by Williamsburg native Bruce Hornsby on piano. Hornsby gave the Amphitheater's inaugural concert last month.
Those on the lawn were blessed with clear skies, although chilly temperatures sent many to their cars before Chicago's set ended. by CNB
