Charles B. Treakle

PORTSMOUTH - Charles Bryan Treakle, 61, of Duke Drive, died Sunday, June 2, 1996, in Portsmouth.

Mr. Treakle was a native of Norfolk. He was a retired salesman and had been in real estate management. He was also a former route circulation manager for The Virginian-Pilot. He had served in the Navy Reserve.

Survivors include his wife, Jacquelin B. Treakle; a daughter, Marcia Curry of Monterey, Va.; a son, Charles Mark Treakle of Chesapeake; two sisters, Susan H. Orme of Virginia Beach and LaRetta R. Henderson of Jacksonville, Fla.; and three grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. John Maiorana. The family will be at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. After the service, the family will receive friends at 3333 Courtney Road, Portsmouth.
