Christina Ioanni Georgallis, 88, of the 4100 block of Bonney Road, died June 1, 1996, in her residence.
Mrs. Georgallis was a native of Karavas, Kyrenia, Cyprus, and a resident of Norfolk since 1945. She was the widow of Costas Georgallis. She was a member of Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation in Norfolk.
Survivors include three sons, George C. Georgallis of Raleigh, N.C., Peter C. Georgallis of Herndon, Va., John C. Georgallis of Suffolk, Va.; brothers and sisters, Michael I. Sergides of Franklin, Va., Stavros I. Sergides of Nicosia, Cyprus, Merpomenie I. Charalambos of Mathiati, Cyprus, Erato I. Kelogregoris, Eughenia I. Chrisanthou and Melanie I. Sergides, all of Nicosia, Cyprus; four grandchildren, Mark S. Georgallis of Richmond, Stephanie M. Proctor of Whiteville, N.C., Sharon L. Moffett and Angie B. Smith, both of Herndon; and six great-grandchildren.
A church service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation by the Rev. Constantine Rogakos. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A Trisagion service will be held this evening at 7 p.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel.
