Robert Ernest Mitchell, 30, of the 18500 block of Spivey Lane, died May 30, 1996, in Madison County, N.C.
Mr. Mitchell was born in Richmond and was an Army veteran. He was a truck driver with Hornady Truck Line Inc.
Survivors include his wife, Cherry Reaves Mitchell; a daughter, Jessica Amber Mitchell, and a son, Aaron Blake Mitchell, both of Windsor; his mother, Carol Almond of Highland Springs, Va.; his father, James Mitchell Jr. of Sandston, Va.; three sisters, Valerie Mitchell of Windsor, Cheryl M. Hill of Smithfield and Margarette Mitchell of Highland Springs; two brothers, J.R. Mitchell of Newport News and Bryan Mitchell of Highland Springs; maternal grandparents, Robert and Vernelle Tyler of Richmond, and paternal grandparents, James and Elizabeth Mitchell of Aylett, Va.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Brooks Funeral Home, South Boston, Va., by the Rev. Rueggy Copen. Burial will be in Black Walnut Baptist Church Cemetery, Cluster Springs, Va. Friends may visit the family at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Reaves in Cluster Springs.
