W. Carleton Jones Jr., 75, of the 1200 block of Colonial Ave., died June 3, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Jones was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a 1941 graduate of Maury High School.
Survivors include a brother, Andrew L. Jones of Virginia Beach; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth C. Jones of Virginia Beach and Nancy W. Jones of Richmond, Va.; and several nephews and a niece.
A chapel service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, by the Rev. Paul Hogg. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the funeral home following the funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross, Tidewater Chapter. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk will be handling the arrangements.
