Lucille Jacobs Bailey, 89, of the 900 block of Wolcott Ave., died May 31, 1996, in a local hospital.
She was the widow of William Bailey. She was born in Norfolk and was a member of St. John A.M.E. Church, Norfolk.
She is survived by three sisters, Miss Evelyn Jacobs, Mrs. Dorothea Gray and Mrs. Vivian J. Wnay, all of Norfolk; a brother, Edward H. Jacobs; two brothers-in-law; two nieces; two nephews; two great-nephews; two great-nieces; and two god children.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday by the Rev. I.W. Knight at St. John A.M.E. Church, Bute Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home is in charge. The family will be at 981 Wolcott Ave., Norfolk.
