JIM MILLER, NOT JOHN WARNER

I have felt for some time that Jim Miller is the choice Virginians need to make. He is an experienced ``budget man'' (and do we ever need that), more conservative than Senator Warner and a straight shooter.

I now am even more convinced when our sometime Republican Senator Warner refuses to speak at the Republican State Convention. Is he afraid people will remember how he refused to support Michael Farris for lieutenant governor because he didn't know him?

Was he too important or too busy to find out what a good conservative, loyal, pro-family man Farris is?

Is he afraid that people will remember how he helped Sen. Chuck Robb get re-elected?

We could have had two republican senators if John Warner had supported Ollie North! Is he afraid that people will remember that he failed to vote for Robert Bork?

Now he wants us to be loyal and support him because he has worked so hard to maintain the military's presence in our state. Does he think that any Virginia senator would not work his heart out to protect the military's presence in our state?

Senator Warner has become too big for his boots. We need a new loyal Republican to represent us in Washington. Conceit and longevity will never outperform loyalty and hard work. Jim Miller is the new loyal conservative leader we need.
