Victor E. Arnold, 90, of the 4200 block of Thoroughgood Drive, died on June 4, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mr. Arnold was born in S. Norwalk, Conn. He was a member of Fairmont Park Methodist Church and a U.S. Naval veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Ruth Arnold; a stepson and his wife, Billy and Dorothy Fleming of Virginia Beach; a sister, Norma Hisson of S. Norwalk; two grandchildren, Glenn E. Fleming of Norfolk and Lawrence W. Fleming of Jacksonville, Fla.; three great-grandchildren, Michael W. Fleming, Jennifer L. Fleming and Vanessa C. Fleming.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Donald Baird in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive. Burial with military honors is in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
